Overview

As an IT Infrastructure Analyst and Cyber Security Analyst you will support and maintain MSA's computer information systems to ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of MSA's business information. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your troubleshooting and analytical skills, along with working independently, in supporting the IT Infrastructure and Cyber Security Teams. This program has a targeted length of 2 years, during which analysts will complete rotations in 3-4 departments. After the rotational period, the candidate will be place into a designated full-time IT position.

Responsibilities

Possible rotations include:

  • IT Infrastructure Services
  • Cyber Security

Description of duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform operational support of IT Infrastructure technology including, but not limited to servers, network, security, messaging and storage.
  • Support Voice/Data/Video technologies and applications.
  • Enhance and administer Cyber Security education and awareness programs.
  • Leverage vulnerability technologies and techniques along with remediation efforts to reduce risk to the organization.
  • Support ISO 270001 security framework and compliance initiatives.
  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a customer-based perspective
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Networking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to sell concepts and ideas to a wide range of audience
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to recognize, respect and adapt to cultural differences, on a global level.

Education and experience required:

  • Associates degree or higher in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Business Administration or related discipline
  • Two years related work experience may be substituted for an associate's degree

Preferred:

  • Experience with an international work environment that includes team members from different countries and cultures
  • Bachelor’s degree in related Information Technology discipline
