Overview

As the part-time HR Administrative Assistant, you’ll demonstrate your ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and operate with the utmost integrity and discretion.  The position is responsible for providing administrative support in the areas of on-boarding, record keeping, employee relations, regulation compliance, and work in a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

  • Conduct all new hire on-boarding for Corporate Center and Ryan Lab, including orientation, e-verify, paperwork, ID badge request, and general building information
  • Process Short Term Disability and Return to Work paperwork based on Medical Disability Tracker
  • Process other miscellaneous People Center paperwork
  • Complete all Docuware scanning and filing
  • Manages some aspects of Plant recognition and engagement programs
  • Coordinate Service Award distribution
  • Post Plant-wide notices / generate location-wide email notifications
  • Miscellaneous office duties, including label making for Medical, ordering of office supplies, copying, etc.
  • Handle general "drop-in" inquiries

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:

  • Exceptional organization, prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Professional demeanor and approach
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative to address issues / improve processes

 
Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years previous business office experience

 

Preferred:

 

  • Associate’s Degree in Business or HR related field
  • 5 years of experience in an HR Administrative role
