    We’re looking for an experienced solutions-based Territory Sales Manager with strong technical abilities to join our team.  Reporting to the Senior Business Manager SaaS, you’ll demonstrate your sales expertise by driving software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue for the virtual products associated with MSA’s differentiated safety hardware.    If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, then we want to hear from you!

    Responsibilities

    Description of duties and responsibilities

     

    • Drive software-as-a-service (SaaS) revenue for the virtual products associated with MSA’s differentiated safety hardware.
    • Develop leads in applicable markets and execute business strategy.
    • Present SaaS solutions comfortably and confidently using variety of tools, techniques & technologies to audiences that range from early adopters to laggards.
    • Research, build and leverage competitive information to articulate the advantages of MSA’s SaaS solutions and hardware.
    • Champion our SaaS solutions as a product expert to MSA sales teams and channel partners.
    • Manage interactions with and intentionally solicit feedback about our SaaS solutions from current and future customers to fuel new feature and service development.
    • Train other team members on solutions, driving the knowledge base for the MSA sales team as needed.
    • Travel overnight up to 75% to Pittsburgh area and target locations such as the Gulf Coast US , Alberta, Canada, etc.

    • Demonstrated enthusiasm / high interest in new and evolving technologies and tools.
    • Proven fearless pursuit of growth and customer feedback towards innovative solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal, including technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proven product or application training experience.
    • Motivated self-starter with proven business development skills and success in recognizing solution based sales opportunities and power selling methodology.
    • Demonstrated solution based selling skills with end users and/or distribution channels.
    • Proven ability to guide, mentor, and motivate others, including the MSA sales force.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve and surpass aggressive sales goals.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills for execution of sales plans and overcoming obstacles.
    • Excellent interpersonal , relationship building, and persuasive skills to develop and instill confidence for SaaS products for adoption and ease of implementation.

    Education and Experience Required:

     

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • This position is available at four different career levels based upon experience, education, etc:
      • Level one: 3 years relevant sales experience
      • Level two: 4 years relevant sales experience
      • Level three: 5 years relevant sales experience
      • Level four: 6 years relevant sales experience

    Education and Experience Preferred:

     

    • Software, service and/or subscription-based sales experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
    • Experience working with CRM or related tools to manage pipeline activity
