    We are looking for a dynamic network analyst who has strong technical knowledge or aptitude to learn to administrate and configure MSA’s unified communications technology and solutions. This candidate would be a valuable member of the Global IT Network and Communications team responsible for supporting and/or managing global projects and requests relating to the following technology: Voice-IP Telephony, Contact Center, Video/Audio/Desktop Conferencing, Mobility, Multimedia/AV, and corresponding Data Network Equipment (router & switch). If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, then we want to hear from you! 

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Description of duties and responsibilities:

     

    Administration of  Telecommunications – Unified Communications Systems

    • Provide first level end user support by reviewing and fulfilling all move, add, and change requests within established service levels 
    • Manage day to day Telecommunications move, add, and change requests for 24 global locations
    • Assist with global VoIP, SIP, and IP Telephony deployment

     

    Support of Global Contact Center Solutions

    • Manage day to day move, add, and change requests for 9 Global Call Centers
    • Create Contact Center customized reports for the Business Units

     

    Administration Support of Network Technology Systems

    • Oversee network switch patching tickets
    • Assist with network device and configuration standardization

     

    Manage Video/Audio/Web Conferencing Solutions

    • Configure, implement, and support MSA’s 120+ globally deployed video conferencing units
    • Manage desktop conferencing applications administration (Polycom Real Presence, Cisco, WebEX)
    • Assist with analysis and business case preparation for global unified communications strategy (Skype for Business, Jabber, WebEX, Other)

     

    Manage Wireless/Mobile Services

    • Oversee wireless/cellular managed services partner
    • Establish and execute strategies to minimize mobility costs
    • Maintain MSA Mobility policies

    Qualifications

    Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    • Proven TCP/IP analytical and troubleshooting skills
    • Demonstrated project management experience and multitasking skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel and MS Visio
    • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines
    • Proven ability to draft clear, concise, and accurate technical reports
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% both domestic and international

     

    Education and experience required:

    • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
    • 2 years of ATA networking experience or 1 year of router configuration experience
    • Experience in the design, implementation, and/or administration of any of the following:
      • Unified Communications Systems including mobility platforms, video, and chat
      • Routing /Switching Platforms and LAN switch configurations
      • Network management and reporting systems
      • Directory Services (e.g. Windows 2008+ AD, LDAP)
      • Internet Protocols (e.g. DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SSL, SSH)
      • Wi-Fi networks

    Preferred: 

    • Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Information systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.

    • Coursework or hands on experience with Cisco Systems

    • MSA IT experience or with a corporate enterprise

    • Knowledge of IP Subnetting, Qos/CoS, and IPv4/IPv6 addressing schemes
