    We are looking for an Electrical Engineering co-op for the Fall of 2018.  Working alongside experienced engineers, co-ops have a unique opportunity to apply their academic learning to products that protect lives in communities around the world. Engineering co-ops in the Manufacturing Engineering group will develop technical, engineering, and research skills while collaborating with other engineering disciplines and corporate functions.  If this sounds like an exciting opportunity, we want to hear from you!


    • Project Management assistance of electro-mechanical equipment, tools, and fixtures programs for new and existing products, processes, and equipment to include cost estimation and justification
    • Project Management assistance and design input of electro-mechanical equipment and test apparatus to include specification, development, design review, installation, qualification, and commissioning
    • Technical problem solving
    • Focus on safety and ergonomics issues related to manufacturing processes


    Demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of:

    • Mechanical and electrical principles for manufacturing equipment to assemble, test, and convey
    • General manufacturing processes for testing, fixturing, coating, molding, and stamping
    • Safety and ergonomic principles and regulations
    • Quality testing and measurement techniques and procedures
    • Technical problem solving and troubleshooting
    • Hands-on technical aptitude.
    • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills:written, verbal, and presentation.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Tools, with a special emphasis on Excel.



    • Incumbent must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably from an ABET-accredited program)
    • Must have completed at least one semester of Sophomore year.
