  • Overview

    We're looking for a motivated Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will provide valuable insight to our SaaS business stakeholders by developing and updating product pipeline & adoption dashboards; assisting with the SaaS team's ERP/CRM administration; creating, implementing and analyzing business models and processes; and working with the MSA Accounting team to support monthly reporting and annual budgeting.


    Description of duties and responsibilities:


    • Analyze SaaS product revenue and metrics; Prepare advanced financial models including creation of three-statement operating models, discounted cash flow analysis, and payback/ROI analysis.
    • Provide SaaS business model & product adoption insight and recommendations in a dynamic environment.
    • Work alongside internal and external resources to ensure a successful ERP/CRM implementation.
    • Design, update, and share business dashboards for both public and internal consumption.
    • Support the MSA Finance and Accounting teams as needed with monthly reporting and quarterly reviews.
    • Assist in developing the company’s long-range and annual plans as well as quarterly forecasts.
    • Complete analysis of actual results to provide meaningful insight into the company’s financial performance including in-depth explanations on deviations from plan and forecast.
    • Provide monthly and quarterly KPI reporting, including providing new subscriptions, customer attrition, and other sales data to MSA compensation team in order to calculate commissions and awards.
    • Up to 10% domestic and international travel (as needed based on customer and product team needs).

    • Superior Excel skills including use of macros, pivot tables, Index/Match, sumif(s), and other statements to efficiently provide insightful analysis.
    • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and experience preparing presentations.
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.


    Education and experience required:


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
    • This position is available at two different career levels based upon experience, education, etc:
      • Level one: 4 + years work experience with increasing responsibility in a dynamic, customer-centric environmentor 
      • Level two: 6 + years work experience with increasing responsibility in a dynamic, customer-centric environment



    • Master's degree with business, finance and/or creative focus.
