    We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Development Associate with strong communication skills to join our team. You will demonstrate your expertise by working in conjunction with Segment Marketing, Field Sales and Strategic Accounts to support Marketing and Sales programs that drive customer satisfaction and revenue.     Responsibilities

    Description of duties and responsibilities:

     

    • Qualify and manage sales leads from industry data sources and reports, Marketo, trade shows and other sources.  Follow up with assigned Sales Associate on all qualified leads.
    • Support, drive and monitor key sales opportunities with distribution and end-users via CRM tool.
    • Communicate sales opportunities to sales personnel and channel partners.
    • Provide high-level sales support to key strategic accounts through account managers.
    • Provide product attribute information required for products to be sold through our channel partners.
    • Convert competitive product part numbers to their comparable MSA items to assist in the sales process.
    • Research and identify new methods to increase end-user and channel partner engagement and drive new streams of revenue.

    Qualifications

    Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

     

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to grasp technical product knowledge.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Suite products, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Strong organizational skills; ability to multi task, focus on detail and manage a timeline.
    • Demonstrated problem solving abilities with proven track record of generating high quality innovative solutions.
    • Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically.

     

    Preferred:

    • Experience in SAP CRM equivalent pipeline management tool.
    • SAP ECC knowledge and experience.
    • Advanced level Excel.
    • Familiarity with E-commerce portals for distribution channels.

     

    Education and experience required:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • This position is available at two different career levels depending on experience, education, etc:
      • Level I  – 2 years of experience in an Inside Sales or Business Development Role
      • Level II – 3 - 4 years or more of experience in an Inside Sales or Business Development Role

    Preferred

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field.
    • MBA may be substituted for up to two years of relevant work experience
    • MSA product knowledge a plus
