    We are looking for a Lead, Global Treasury or a Manager, Global Treasury to join our team.  Reporting to the Assistant Treasurer and Director, Global Tax, the position performs a variety of treasury tasks across cash management, foreign exchange, capital structure and investments.  The successful candidate must have a strong desire to build skills in multiple treasury disciplines and work with various areas of finance including FP&A, Accounting/Consolidations and Corporate Development.  Build a rewarding career and help make the world safer, one person at a time.

     

    Responsibilities

    Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    Lead Global Treasury

    • Maintain global liquidity for domestic and international affiliates by evaluating banking structures and making recommendations to streamline cash management.
    • Complete various cash management compliance requirements / forms.
    • Ensure proper compliance with credit facility requirements.
    • Assist regional finance managers and directors on credit and trade financing needs.
    • Coordinate MSA’s global foreign exchange risk management program.
    • Partner with accounting, tax and regional finance managers/directors to identity foreign exchange exposures and develop strategies to decrease these risks.
    • Evaluate US and Canadian pension and 401(k) manager performance against established benchmarks and distribute quarterly results to Executive Leadership team.
    • Support MSA personnel on treasury processes / procedures including internal SOX documentation.

    Manager, Global Manager

    All above Lead duties plus:

    • Partner with regional finance managers and directors on credit and trade financing needs and ensure enacted cash management policies and procedures are followed.
    • Lead MSA’s global foreign exchange risk management program.
    • Evaluate pension and 401(k) manager performance against established benchmarks and make recommendations which impact asset allocation, advisor selection and third-party administrators.
    • Challenge existing processes and look for ways to improve those processes.  Ensure identified improvements are implemented appropriately.
    • Ensure MSA personnel follow treasury processes / procedures; understand their rationale and how they should be implemented globally.

    Qualifications

    Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    • A strong continuous improvement orientation and desire to grow in skills and career.
    • Proven experience coordinating projects, meeting deadlines, and producing high-quality work results and reports.
    • Ability to analyze data and draft clear and concise reports summarizing the results and making recommendations.
    • Proven ability to identify project obstacles and use creativity to develop alternative solutions.
    • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

     

    Education and experience required:

    This position is available at two different career levels based upon experience, education, etc.:

     

    Education required:

    • Levels I and II:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related discipline

    Education preferred:

    • Levels I and II:  Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
    • Level II:  MBA or similar advanced degree

    Experience required:

    • Level I:  5 or more years of financial or treasury experience including experience in a large multinational or domestic corporation
    • Level II:  10 or more years relevant treasury experience; 12 or more years total relevant experience including experience in a large multinational or domestic corporation

    Experience preferred:

    • Levels I and II:  Experience with international cash management, foreign exchange and credit facilities; Project management experience
    • Level II:  Interaction with Senior and Executive level management
