  • Overview

    Responsible for leading the day to day operations of the HRIS to include, system administration, data integrity, data analysis, reporting, and understanding global needs and adjusting data governance requirements.


    Description of duties and responsibilities:

    • Lead evaluation and analyzing of complex HR data capabilities and requirements.
    • Present information on employee demographics, trends and projections to all levels of Management in all functions company wide.
    • Recommend global standards, practices, and procedures in HR and HRIS.
    • Lead tests and implementation of SAP system upgrades or patches.
    • Research and resolve SAP problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
    • Develop instructions and guidelines for lower level analyst and administrator.
    • Identify new HR system needs and research the software products to fulfill these needs.
    • Lead HRIS platform implementation and integration.
    • Develop and manage global organizational management process within SAP.
    • Build and execute test plans during implementation of new/updated functionality.
    • Lead business process of maintaining data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data, and ensuring regional owners correct data as required.
    • Develop and automate standard reports for ongoing customer needs; develop and execute more complex reports company wide.
    • Consult with IT Department on Master Data configuration related to HR and payroll functions.
    • Implement, Test, and be a strategic partner for ongoing requirements of various SAP modules (Z-Salary, Profile Automation, Manager’s Desktop, Workflow, etc.)
    • Develop and implement software recommendations, electronic solutions, and platform design related to HR needs.
    • Collaborate on integration issues surrounding benefits administration requirements.
    • Provide support to Supervisor, People Center, on SAP documentation requirements.
    • Lead projects related to various corporate initiatives (e.g. acquisitions, divestitures, VRIP, payroll integrations, upgrades, etc.)
    • Investigate and respond to highly complex internal customer issues.
    • Provide ongoing support to People Center and/or Global HRBP staff when resolving customer issues.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key global HRBPs and SAP users/SMEs.
    • Manage, assign and follow up on issues in HR Issues Database.
    • Develop guidelines, standards, checklist, naming conventions, and procedural documents to support system administration.
    • Influence customers such as global HRBP’s and IT staff.
    • Establish new global data governance requirements.
    • Create and maintain documentation for new and existing processes.
    • Perform Peer Review for new and existing processes across functions company wide.
    • Conduct audits of global HR data and ensure regional owners correct data as required.
    • Conduct training for global staff on new or more complex modified processes.


    Special knowledge, skills and abilities required:

    • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Access and PowerPoint
    • Possess a positive, service oriented attitude with excellent follow through on issues
    • Demonstrated experience/maturity to handle confidential and sensitive information
    • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time-management skills
    • Advanced understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes; experience with database tools
    • Strong project management skills
    • Knowledge of workflow processes
    • Demonstrated experience with talent management systems/HRIS platforms
    • Willingness to travel up to 5% domestic and international.


    • Strong knowledge of HR and benefit interfaces

    Education and experience required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, business or related field; Four years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
    • 5 years of SAP HRIS or related experience, including proven knowledge for all major human resources functions and payroll
    • 2 years of HR Generalist experience


    • Master’s degree in related field may be substituted for up to two years of relevant work experience
    • PHR and/or SHRM-CP Certification
