We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager for Globe PPE Products. While reporting to the Fire Service Segment Manager, NNA (Northern North America), the successful incumbent will be responsible for all customer-facing marketing activities for their product lines and core markets including: developing go-to-market strategies to generate demand, providing support to MSA sales managers, channel partners, and customer service, developing and driving digital and social media marketing communications initiatives. This role will provide the opportunity to demonstrate an understanding of the various customer personas within the US and Canadian fire service markets, the complete buying cycle, and key customer pain points to create powerful messaging and differentiated solutions for customers. In addition, this role will provide direct support to the Chief Operating Officer of Globe, responsible for assisting and leading additional sales, marketing, and business integration activities.   • Keep a “real-time pulse” on market conditions, competitive activities, industry and technology trends market size and share, as well as market growth rates, through market research and data analysis.
  • Provide market and data analysis in a manner that enables the organization to act.
  • Determine key marketing collateral investment within assigned market and product areas.
  • Monitor business success through clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adjust tactics or initiatives to improve performance as needed.
  • Use regional input gathered through market research and the regional steering team process to develop, drive and maintain the go-to-market strategy for Globe PPE Products.
  • Be responsible for the customer facing maintenance of Globe PPE Products and related complementary products including website governance and marketing collateral.
  • Provide support to the Chief Operating Officer of Globe to lead and / or assist with marketing, sales, and business integration activities.
  • Act as Globe advocate within MSA to drive deeper integration and organizational mind share.
  • Lead efforts to implement MSA processes into Globe activities, including NPD, Sales, MarCom, and Customer Experience business areas.
  • Utilize customer and organizational data to create unique insights to grow the business.
  • Lead and support industry trade shows.
  • Serve as an advocate for our customers.


Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Demonstrated ability to acquire and understand customer needs and to translate those needs into differentiated solutions, and to communicate those needs throughout the organization.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies cross functionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Exemplary communication, organizational, critical thinking, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Depending upon location, domestic/international travel could be up to 50%.

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, engineering or related discipline
  • This position is available at four different career levels based upon experience and education
  • Level one: at least 4 years of marketing, sales or product development experience
  • Level two: at least 5 years of marketing, sales or product development experience
  • Level three: at least 7 years of marketing, sales or product development experience
  • Senior: at least 9 years of marketing, sales or product development experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • MBA may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Globe or competitive PPE products
  • Experience with the U.S. and Canadian fire service markets
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and general ERP knowledge
