• Work in highly motivated, high performing cross-functional and global teams to create software providing top notch user experience and meeting high standards of quality
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle and to initiatives that impact the broader software organization or company
• Deliver software for high tech devices and systems that drive differentiating features our customers want and need to better enable worker and work site safety in dangerous industrial and firefighting settings
• Up to 10% domestic/international travel may be required


Special Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • High software development aptitude in embedded product development context
  • System and architectural thinking within a team approach
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality results including experience writing automated tests/simulators
  • Demonstrated ownership over key components or aspects of a project
  • Experience with wired and/or wireless communication protocols

Special Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Preferred:

  • Ability to quickly ramp-up with existing codebases to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Industry experience with embedded Linux or RTOS running on Cortex-based microcontrollers
  • Experience applying embedded cybersecurity principles to product development


Education and Experience Required:

  • BSCE, BSEE or relevant technical discipline, preferably from an ABET-accredited program.

This position is available at two different career levels based upon experience and education:

  • Level one (Staff III):  3 years of relevant industry experience required
  • Level two (Senior Staff):  5 years of relevant industry experience required
  • MS degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience
