Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Understanding of the software lifecycle and navigating the challenges and complexities that arise during a typical development cycle
  • Demonstrated technical ability in designing and implementing software that fits the need, including within the constraints of hardware (RTOS or embedded Linux)
  • Ability to communicate well - verbal, written, presentation


Education and Experience Required:

  • BSCE, BSEE or relevant technical discipline, preferably from an ABET or similarly accredited program
  • minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience required
    • MS degree may be substituted for up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience interacting with breadth of internal/external stakeholders that embedded software teams deliver to and cooperate with in the process of product development
